This comprehensive, hands-on Threading Training is designed for aspiring and working beauty professionals who want to learn how to remove facial hair safely, efficiently, and with greater precision.

Through detailed theory, guided thread-control practice, instructor demonstration, and supervised live model application, you will learn how to create clean, balanced brow shapes while protecting the client’s skin and maintaining professional hygiene standards.

The training primarily focuses on eyebrow threading and also introduces basic threading techniques for the upper lip and chin areas.

TRAINING DETAILS

Duration: One day, approximately 4–5 hours

Location: Babylon, Long Island, New York

Format: In-person theory, guided practice, instructor demonstration, and supervised live model application

TRAINING STRUCTURE

THEORY & THREAD-CONTROL PRACTICE

The training begins with client consultation, contraindications, sanitation, facial hair growth, skin stretching, thread preparation, hand positioning, tension, and movement control.

You will complete guided exercises to develop coordination and learn how to control the thread before working on a live model.

INSTRUCTOR DEMONSTRATION

A professional threading demonstration will show you how to assess the brows, position the client, stretch the skin correctly, control the thread, and remove unwanted hair while maintaining a clean and balanced shape.

SUPERVISED LIVE MODEL APPLICATION

You will complete a threading service on a live model with step-by-step instructor guidance and personalized feedback.

The practical application primarily focuses on eyebrow threading. Basic upper lip or chin threading may also be demonstrated or practiced when appropriate.

LIVE MODEL REQUIREMENT

The student is responsible for arranging a suitable live model for the practical portion of the training.

The model must not have active irritation, open skin, sunburn, infection, or a recent facial procedure that may make threading unsuitable. The model may require instructor approval.

Any relevant skin conditions, allergies, medications, or recent facial treatments must be disclosed before class.

PROFESSIONAL THREADING STARTER KIT INCLUDED

A course-specific professional starter kit is included, allowing you to continue practicing after completing the training.

The kit includes essential threading, brow-shaping, and practice supplies.

Exact kit contents, product brands, colors, and packaging may vary depending on availability. Individual items may be replaced with comparable professional products of a similar purpose and quality.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a personalized Dessi Artistry Certificate of Completion.

This certificate confirms completion of the Threading Training program. It does not replace a state license, board certification, insurance, or any other legally required professional qualification.

Each student is responsible for reviewing and complying with the licensing, certification, insurance, and professional requirements in their own state.

CONTINUED SUPPORT

Your education does not end when the class is over. Continued support is available as you practice, ask questions, submit your work, and continue developing your threading technique.

PAYMENT, REFUND & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Full payment is required at the time of enrollment to reserve your confirmed training date.

All training purchases are final and non-refundable.

You may request to reschedule your training one time by providing at least seven days’ written notice. Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability.

Requests made less than seven days before the scheduled training date, cancellations, or failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the full training payment.
